We provide referrals to PRIVATE ATTORNEYS when possible.
There may not be an attorney to refer a specific case to.
There is no charge for the referral. The attorney may charge regular rates for services.
We don't know what their fees are of if they have free consultations.
We do not have a listing of attorneys who will accept PRO BONO (FREE) cases.
We don't know if any of the attorneys are licensed in other states. If case is in another state, you have to contact the referral service in that state/county.
Northwestern Legal Services is the only agency in Mercer County that provides free/reduced fee services - 1-800-665-6957 We are not affiliated with NWLS.
We do not have free attorneys for CRIMINAL cases. Those are handled by the Public Defender's office 724-662-3800.
We only refer to Mercer County attorneys for cases filed in Mercer County. If we don't have an attorney for a specific case, we refer to adjacent county. If case is filed in another county, you have to contact the LRS in that county.
We can not send a list of names and phone numbers. We can give 1 or 2 names.
